This past Wednesday night, a couple hundred food enthusiasts participated at the launch of the Nutritional Research Project, in NYC at Peter Max’s Art Studio. Peter Max is one of the most prolific artists of our time and one of the many thousands who are advocates of the nutritional research of Joel Fuhrman M.D.
A project of the National Health Association, the mission of the Nutritional Research Project, is to fund clinical research to evaluate the impact of a high nutrient density diet on chronic disease.
What’s so great about the Nutritional Research project IS the mission, which is to conduct clinical research to study diet styles designed for their disease-preventing and disease-reversing properties. Health care is indeed a BIG problem in our country and what is so special about this project is that nutritional research studies are being funded by people with nothing more than an interest in getting healthy. Unlike, the watered down and skewed research we hear so much about that are funded by commercial interests to promote a product that in most cases is not healthy.
We had a great time, and it was fun to talk with health luminaries all over the New York area for this event.
And the food was amazing, sponsored by Whole Foods Market.
